Empowering the next generation of riders
Who We Are
Ascend the Ride Foundation is a Georgia-based nonprofit using mountain biking, BMX, and action sports as tools for youth mentorship, character development, and community impact.
Our Programs
Our programs deliver mentorship, skill development, and life-building opportunities through action sports. Each program is designed to remove barriers, build confidence, and develop character both on and off the bike.
Our Impact
We measure impact through access created, skills developed, and community strengthened.
Since launching our programs, we have:
Served 50+ youth participants, providing structured mentorship and skill development opportunities
Mobilized 25+ dedicated volunteers, building a strong base of community leadership
Contributed 300+ volunteer hours toward trail building, restoration, and youth programming
Engaged riders across 100+ miles of local trail systems, promoting outdoor activity, environmental stewardship, and healthy lifestyles
Our work expands access to safe riding environments, reduces financial and participation barriers, and cultivates confident, resilient young leaders who positively impact their schools and communities.
Our Story
What started as a passion for bikes grew into a calling to mentor youth through action sports. We saw how mountain biking and BMX build resilience, courage, discipline, and confidence — and how many young people lacked access to safe gear, guidance, and a positive community.
So we built one.
Ascend the Ride brings together riding, mentorship, and character development to give youth a place where they are seen, supported, and challenged to grow. On the trail, at the park, and in conversation, riders learn they are capable of more than they thought — not just on a bike, but in life.
We’re not just creating better athletes. We’re helping shape stronger, purpose-driven young leaders.
